Otherwise violate intellectual property rights.

Can I display your images legally on my site?
Yes, you can display The Business Muse images on your site, as long they are used as affiliate links. Don’t forget to mention that you are "In association with The Business Muse."

I operate multiple websites. Should I sign up each one separately?
No, you don't have to. You can use the same account and links for all websites that you have. If you want to track each website’s sales and clicks separately, you can sign up for another account. You will receive a single check at the end of the month for all commission earned.

How many different ways can I link to The Business Muse?
You can link to The Business Muse with product links, logos, banners, and text links. And you can also choose to link to different destinations on our website such as specific items, categories, or our homepage.

How do I build links?
It\’s easy. Login to our affiliates area and go to our affiliate section. You choose the type of link you want and our site will generate the HTML (you don\’t even need to copy the images to your site). Then you can just copy and paste the code into your site pages.

How can I check that my links are working properly?
You should always test your links after you place them on your site. It may seem like a very basic suggestion, but you would be surprised at how many people upload linking code that is accidentally corrupted.
To ensure that your affiliate links to The Business Muse are working properly, go ahead and click through some of your links. Make sure that the links go to the intended destinations and the URL.
To double check, give the system one day for the clicks to register to your account and then log into the affiliate section and then click on "Clickthrough Report". If your links are working properly, you will see the clicks recorded in the report. If you are still unsure whether your links are functional, e-mail us at affiliates@thebusinessmuse.com and we will take a look.

How do I know if I have made any sales?
We track your sales in real time. You will always have access to updated statistics on your traffic and sales.

How does The Business Muse track sales from my website?
We track sales coming from your website using the unique “Affiliate ID” in your links. Based on the “Affiliate ID” number in the link, we can identify each visitor that comes from your website and credit your sales and traffic accordingly.

If someone clicks on a particular item link and then purchases a different item(s), does the commission still apply?
Yes! You get paid the same commission rate on all of your sales regardless of how you link to us or what the customer buys. You earn commission on all sales not including amounts we collect for shipping & handling and tax or product deemed not comissionable.

How much do I get paid?
We pay you a commission on all sales except excluded products and services (not including amounts we collect for shipping & handling and tax). The higher your sales, the higher your commission rate!

When do I get paid?
You get paid 90 days after the end of the month, once your commission balance reaches the minimum amount. For affiliates who are being paid by check, the minimum is $50.00. Affiliates who request an International Money Order must accumulate a minimum of $100.00 in commission before we can issue a money order. If you have not met the minimum amount, we will carry your commission balance forward to the next month.

Can I use my commissions towards purchases at The Business Muse?
Yes, you may use your available balance towards purchases at The Business Muse.

Can I buy products through my own links?
Yes, feel free to click through your own links to make purchases. You will earn commission on your purchases except wholesale purchases.
